This album started as an idea for licensing music through one of Lisa's associates in L.A but it turned into a tribute to the great Lisa Donnelly and some of the last studio sessions that we were blessed with on earth. A dear friend who touched so many people with her warm heart, amazing talent, beautiful smile and hilarious wit, anyone who met Lisa was immediately drawn in to her vibrant ways. This was the toughest album I've ever had the pleasure of working on and I fight back my tears just to write this now. I feel so inspired when i hear her voice and it makes me sad to know we will never make another song together, but I am so lucky to have had the opportunity to work with such a great friend in life. Dear Lisa you are missed immensely, so with these recordings I only hope to bring some kind of solace to those that seek light in the darkness of your absence. It is with great pleasure i present these Fleetwood Mac interpretations of ours, to give life to those who are no longer with us is a special privilege and power, it has been very cathartic finishing these songs and I hope they bring some relief to her fans, family and friends, she will live on for eternity through her song. <3 -love nez
